Impactful Classes of my Undergraduate Career
Effortful Learning:
Academically Challenging Classes “You can throw in the towel..or you can use it to wipe the sweat off your face.”
- Gatorade These were some of the most rigorous and academically challenging classes I've ever taken. In some cases they were those that my GPA suffered in most greatly, and in other cases they were those I excelled in, but through all of them I learned valuable things about myself and about how to approach learning.

Discovering Biology:
Classes That Get Me Excited about Life! "You don't have a life. You are life."
- Eckhart Tolle Despite taking quite an array of classes outside of my Biology major, those classes within my major which decipher life through puzzles of logic and tangible examples are stimulating and fascinating to me. These classes help me understand the world in a way that seems natural to me.

The Work of Unlearning & Questioning:
Classes of Identity & Social Justice “The truth about stories is that’s all we are. There are no truths. Only stories. You want a different world? Tell a different story.”
- Thomas King Collectively, these classes challenged me in ways I never expected to be challenged in college: not so much intellectually as philosophically. They questioned what I believe and how I see the world, and in many ways they expanded that view to include broader perspectives and challenged me to accept truths that I didn't necessarily before.

Explorations of Purpose & Passion:
Classes with Lifelong Applications “Know your stuff. Be a person of character.
Take care of your people.” - Douglas Southall Freeman I was fortunate enough to take some classes which really inspired me to think about the future and the impact I want to make, helping me define my own passions and purpose in life. These are the classes that have woven themselves into my daily existence.
